FLX Gives 2021

Help us make history!

Have you dreamed of making history? Of course, we all have. And now we have a chance to be a part of your community's day of giving - an opportunity to unite our community around causes in which we truly believe and help nonprofit organizations connect to the larger community.

FLXGives, the 24-hour giving movement in our community, is almost here! 

What is FLXGives? FLXGives (flxgives.org) is a 24-hour online fundraising event involving nonprofits from Chemung, Schuyler, Steuben, and Yates Counties. For the 2020 campaign, participating nonprofits raised over $160,000!

Who Supports FLXGives? Community Foundation of Elmira-Corning and the Finger Lakes.

When is FLXGives 2021? FLX Gives 2021 starts at 6:00 pm November 11^th through 6:00 pm November 12^th!

Who can donate? Anyone may donate. Donations through the FLXGives online portal to charitable nonprofit organizations are tax-deductible and cannot be refunded. Contributions may be made via credit and debit cards only. Donations will be received and receipted by GiveGab. Tax acknowledgments will be automatically emailed as soon as the donation is made.

• Donations can be made on any mobile device, laptop, desktop, or tablet. Organizations can also opt to use “Mobile Wallet Integration”, which would enable donors to donate via Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Microsoft Pay

Here’s how you can make a HUGE difference today:

• Share and share-alike. Online days of giving are successful because of our own networks. Help us grow our network by sending this email to your network and ask your friends to do the same.
• Be socially (media) active. Use your social media networks: post on Facebook, tweet about FLXGives, and share your love for your particular passion, whether it’s education, health care, animals, or the arts. Ask others to do the same.
• Become a fundraising champion. Everyone loves a champion, including us! We really need fundraising champions to help drive people to our FLXGives profile on November 12th.
