The Finger Lakes is home to many livestock operations that serve a wide range of customers locally. Livestock producers interested in learning how to better identify customers are invited to attend Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) of Ontario County’s workshop, Livestock Marketing Discussion: Identifying Your Customer.
The workshop will take place February 18, 7:00-8:30 pm, at CCE Ontario’s offices at 480 N. Main St, Canandaigua. Marie Anselm, Agriculture Economic Development Specialist with CCE Ontario, and Nancy Glazier, Small Farms/Livestock Specialist with CCE Northwest NY Dairy, Livestock and Field Crops Team will lead presentation and discussion.
This will be an opportunity to develop a livestock marketing group for producers. Cost is $5 per person. Participants may register online at https://reg.cce.cornell.edu/LvstckCstmrs_232, or contact Nancy Anderson at 585.394.3977 ext. 427 or via email at nea8@cornell.edu.
