4-H Shotgun Workshops

Yates County 4-H will be offering 4-H Shotgun Workshops at the Barrington Rifle Club on Saturdays, April 21st and 28th from noon – 3 pm. Enrolled 4-H youth 14 years and older are welcome to participate. Trained 4-H Shooting Sports Instructors will highlight range and firearm safety while working with participants to increase confidence and skill in shooting. Workshops will include lots of hands-on shooting time, as well as care and maintenance of firearms. There is a cost of $15 per youth or $25 per family, which covers instructions and hands-on shooting time for both days. Youth are encouraged to attend both workshops and will receive 4-H shotgun certification at the completion of the two-day training. Registration is due April 17th.
