Did you know that “agriculture contributes over $37 billion to the New York State economy and NY ranks in the top ten in the nation for yogurt, apples, grapes, calves, and onions, among other products”?
Come celebrate New York Agriculture Literacy week at your local library and learn about agriculture in New York State. We will read this year’s book Right This Very Minute, written by Lisl H. Detlefsen.
After reading the book, youth will participate in an interactive learning activity and have a chance to sample local agricultural products!
