Animal Crackers 2021- All Creatures Great and Small

When/Where: Animal Crackers 2021 “All Creatures Great and Small” to take place virtually via Zoom on Tuesday and Thursday evenings during the month of May. There will be 8 session. Each session will begin at 6 pm and will last approximately 45-60 minutes. This year’s program will highlight the following species: dairy, sheep, goat, rabbit/cavy, poultry, equine, swine, and dog/cat. See the Animal Crackers Topics and Schedule page for more information.

Who: The program is geared to 4-H members involved in animal science projects. Youth are strongly encouraged to attend with their parents or chaperones. Suggested age range is 9-12, however, all youth 9 and up are welcome.

Why: This is a unique opportunity for youth to experience hands-on activities, explore career options in animal science, and expand their knowledge through scientific inquiry.

Registration: Participants must register with the local 4-H Youth Development program through their local county Cornell Cooperative Extension Office. County 4-H educators can register youth via the Animal Crackers 2021 Registration Portal found at the bottom of the Animal Crackers registration page and will be billed directly for all registration fees. The registration fee covers all eight (8) sessions and learning materials.

**Lesson links will be sent directly to the youth (or parent/chaperone) on the Monday of each week. Please make sure that the email provided is current to ensure that youth receive the link to each lesson in a timely fashion.**

Cost: $50 for an individual registration, which covers all eight (8) sessions; $10 for each additional registrant shipping to the same address. This extra charge will go to cover the additional learning materials that will be sent directly to the youth. *As stated above, lesson links to the workshops will be sent on the Monday of each week to the email provided for the youth. Please make sure that the email provided is current to ensure that participants receive the lessons in a timely fashion. The County CCE office making this registration will receive an invoice for these charges.

Registration closes April 1, 2021 for planning purposes.
