Geo-caching is a fun outdoor activity that the entire family can enjoy. And, there are MANY geo-cache sites in and around Yates County. Join us on Saturday, April 15th from 9:30am-2:00 pm to learn about geo-caching and explore some local cache sites. For those new to the topic, we will cover an introduction to geo-caching before heading out to see what we can find. There will be a $5 per youth or $10 per family fee for this workshop, with GPS units provided for the day. We will be traveling via caravan to cache sites in and near Yates County and will be in need of volunteer drivers for the day. Please sign-up with the 4-H office by April 11th and let us know if you’re able to serve as a volunteer driver (a background and DMV check may be needed). If there is enough interest in this topic, we can plan more workshops throughout the year.
