On Saturday, September 22nd, Flint and Steel Farm is hosting Sheep and Wool day. Learn about maintaining fleece quality in sheep, evaluating/grading fleece, and marketing fleece. Also featured at the event will be demonstrations on sheering, spinning, felting, and dyeing with natural dyes.
Featured presenters include: Angela Ingraham (Flint and Steel Farms), Nancy Glazier (NWNY Dairy, Livestock, and Field Crops), Tonya Pettit, Becca Jensen, The Parshall Family (Woolen Bee Farm), and Celeste Gregor.
