4-H Winter Fun Fest

Enjoy an afternoon of hands-on workshops, while learning more about 4-H project areas

When: Sunday, January 27th from 1:30-4:00 pm

Where: Yates County Office Building 417 Liberty Street, Penn Yan, NY

How: To sign up, please return the registration sheet with the appropriate fee by January 18th

Who: Open to all youth, 4-H membership not required

Youth 5-7 (must be accompanied by an adult) will take part in a fun Cloverbud track

Youth 8-18 can choose 3 workshops to participate in

Cost:

Cloverbuds (5-7 years old)- $8.00

Youth 8-18– fee dependent on workshops selected

Adults accompanying youth– Free!

Workshops

(Youth ages 8-18)

A.Creative Baking– Design beautifully decorated cookies- $2.00

B.Outdoor Adventure– Wildlife tracks and first aid- $2.00

C.Horticulture– Learn all about forcing bulbs- $3.00

D.Fleece to Fiber– Hands-on spinning and weaving– FREE

E. Textile Art– Explore tie-dye and printing techniques- $4.00
