CANCELED- Composting Tour and Workshop

Due to the escalation of the situation surrounding COVID-19, the tour has been canceled. This was a very difficult decision, but felt it was a necessary, preventative measure for the health of our guests, volunteers, and presenters. Thank you for your understanding.

Please join us for this informative workshop on how to properly compost farm waste, including animal mortalities. Jean Bonhotal from the Cornell Waste Management Institute will lead us in a discussion of the subject at the Benton Fire House (932 NY-14A, Penn Yan, NY). We will follow-up with a tour of Greener Pastures Composting in Branchport, to show how actively composting mortalities. Tour transportation provided.

Pre-registration is requested. There is a $5.00 suggested donation.
