Taste of Yates Local Food Guide 2024 Update

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Yates County and the Yates County Chamber of Commerce are pleased to announce that production for the fourth edition of the “Taste of Yates – Local Food Guide” is underway, and we want to include your farm/business. A unified approach to local food promotion gives Yates County a unique talking point and distinguishes us within the Finger Lakes and the local food movement. Let us help promote the work you’re already doing to showcase the great variety of food available in our county.

The “Taste of Yates” guide is a free resource that helps to connect both residents and visitors to where to access food and beverages grown and produced in Yates County. Additionally, the guide provides information on the agricultural landscape of Yates County and the seasonal availability of fruits and vegetables. We aim to gradually roll out the updated guide in mid-to-late spring 2024 in both print and digital forms

If you want to include your farm stand/market/retail business, please reach out to the CCE-Yates County office to request a registration form or click here to register online. Registrations will be accepted through Friday, November 10th, 2023.
