4-H Project Kits

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Yates County is pleased to provide programming opportunities for area youth this fall. Covid-19 has forced us to re-think and re-imagine our traditional program delivery methods. We are excited to offer the below opportunities for area youth and families to learn, have fun, and develop new skills together.

4-H Project Kits – 4-H January Yarn Craft Project Kits are now available for order. Learn about yarn art by creating a woven yarn cup, suitable for pens, pencils, markers, etc. All you need is a paper or plastic cup, scissors, and a marker. Instructions and yarn are provided. Orders are due by January 21st. Click here to download an order form, or click here to reserve yours online! Contact the 4-H office with any questions.

Tied Fleece Blanket Kit - With the rising number of Covid cases throughout the county and especially within our school systems, we have decided to turn this workshop into a kit option. Please contact Jen (jja26@cornell.edu) if you would like directions and materials to make a Tied Fleece Blanket (to return to the office and be donated to the Yates County Humane Society). Kits will be available for pick up at the beginning of December.
