Pullorum Testing

If you plan to exhibit poultry (doves, pigeons, and waterfowl exempt) at the county fair, you will need to provide proof of a negative Pullorum Typhoid test. If you purchased your birds on-line, through a local farm store (Tractor Supply, Runnings, Carey’s, etc.) you can ask for a certificate stating that your birds came from a pullorum free flock.

If you received your birds from elsewhere or it’s been over a year since they have been purchased, you will need to have a pullorum test done on your birds. We will be providing a pullorum testing night in Yates County on Wednesday, June 14^th starting at 5:30 pm at the Yates County Fairgrounds. Please contact Jen if you need your birds tested.
