Yates County Workforce Development

YCWFD

The Yates County Workforce Development One-Stop Center is a cooperative effort with partners in the Finger Lakes Works Workforce Development System in the four-county Finger Lakes region of Yates, Ontario, Seneca and Wayne counties. They serve both job seekers and employers in programs supported by Title I of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act. Workforce Development also contracts with the Yates County Department of Social Services to operate their employment programs.

Do you have parenting questions? Pregnant and interested in breastfeeding? Want to meet other local moms?

Baby Café USA is a FREE drop-in for all families! Lactation Counselors are available to help you!

Meet-ups are every 2nd & 4th Thursday, 9:30 am- 11:00 am at the Penn Yan Public Library (214 Main Street, Penn Yan). All are welcome!

Financial Empowerment Resources for New Yorkers

Financial literacy empowers New Yorkers with skills, knowledge and education to make informed decisions with their money. In the wake of economic hardships caused by the pandemic, inflation, and higher interest rates, financial literacy is more vital than ever.

State Comptroller DiNapoli’s financial literacy initiative provides regular updates with information and resources on financial concepts, such as budgeting and saving, so New Yorkers can make better short- and long-term spending decisions and protect themselves from scams. Hope Center Keuka Food Pantry
