Private Pesticide Applicator Training Course

Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) of Yates County is offering a pesticide training course to help individuals prepare for the Private Pesticide Applicator Core Exam. This course is designed to cover essential information for the exam and includes study materials.

Private certification allows individuals to apply restricted-use pesticides on property owned or rented by themselves or their employer. Please note: This is not a 30-hour certification course.

Course Details:

• Dates: Wednesday, January 22, 2025, and Thursday, January 23, 2025
• Time: 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM (both days)
• Location: Yates County Office Building (basement level), 417 Liberty Street, Penn Yan, NY 14527
• Cost: $40 for both days (manuals not included but may be ordered through the CCE-Yates office)

Participants already licensed and seeking re-certification credits can earn:

• 3.75 Core Credits on Day 1
• 3.00 Credits on Day 2
  Re-certification cost is $20 per day attended.

Pre-registration is REQUIRED. Please arrive approximately 5 minutes early to sign in each day.
