Cornell Cooperative Extension-Yates County is pleased to announce Sandi Bastedo as its new executive director. Her start date was February 29th, 2024.

No stranger to the extension system, Sandi comes to CCE-Yates County after spending the last twelve-plus years in various roles at CCE-Wayne County. She was most recently the interim project director for CCE-Wayne County's Northern Finger Lakes SNAP-Ed NY nutrition program, overseeing a team of nine community nutrition educators across a six-county region. During the first part of her career at CCE Wayne, Sandi successfully coordinated health improvement initiatives through projects such as the Neighborhood Health Status Improvement Project and the Creating Healthy Places Grant.
