Gardening Matters Day
Gardening Matters Day is an annual event sponsored by the Master Gardeners of Yates County for the community. Each year, three speakers are invited to present on various horticultural topics. In 2023, the featured speakers and topics were :
- Tree-pruning and Tree Diseases for the Home Gardener (Lexie Davis, Natural Resources/Invasive Species Educator, CCE-Yates County)
- Native Plants and Invasive Species (Brian Eshenaur, Senior Extension Associate, NYS Integrated Pest Management)
- Gardening for Birds (Caroline Boutard-Hunt, Agricultural & Horticultural Educator, CCE-Yates County)
If you could not attend, the presentations were recorded and are available to view below via our YouTube channel, along with copies of the PowerPoint presentations and audio transcripts.
